CAFL Guardianship of Minors Training:

CAFL is now accepting applications from experienced Probate and Family Court attorneys for its May 2026 Certification Training to represent Children, Parents and Guardians in Guardianship of Minor Proceedings in the Probate and Family Court. The training will be a mix of live Zoom sessions, an in-person training day, and self-directed work.  The live Zoom sessions will take place on May 6, 2026, from 3:00-4:00 pm, and May 11 & May 18, 2026, from 2:00-4:30 pm. The in-person training day will take place on May 14, 2026, from 9:30 am-4:30 pm, in Worcester, MA. The agency actively seeks to diversify its private attorney panel membership.  Applications for the guardian certification training close on April 1, 2026.  If you have any questions about the training, please email [email protected].  Interested attorneys can apply through the Application Portal HERE. This training is not for attorneys already certified to represent children and parents in care and protection matters. More information can be found in the attached notice.
