BH JI (Behavioral Health Justice Involved): BH-JI is funded by MassHealth and is a partnership-based program designed to help men and women bridge the gap between jail and their return to the community, and to help those in the community access the supports they need. Eligible participants have been in custody within the last 12 months and/or are on probation or parole, and have a substance use disorder and/or a mental health disorder. A Re-Entry navigator is assigned to participants. This is a voluntary outpatient program, though a referral can be made by probation or parole. Open Sky is the community partner for Hampden County.
