Challenging racial injustice in the juvenile legal system just got a little easier!
Juvenile Defenders Dismantling Racism has created a toolkit that details how bias appears at every stage of a case along with data, scholarly research, case law and tips to successfully confront it. The toolkit includes sample motions, reference sheets, and a 4-page practice guide designed to accompany you to court to help you challenge racism whenever and wherever it arises.
Join us on February 23rd from 2-3:30pm to discuss strategies for raising race, get a copy of the new Toolkit for Raising Race in Delinquency & Youthful Offender Cases and practice using it with a sample case.
