Audit and Oversight
The Audit and Oversight Department is responsible for monitoring the billing of private counsel who accept assignments through the Committee and vendors who provide services to CPCS clients. The Department reviews bills to insure that the services billed were provided to the client, the bills submitted are reasonable in terms of both dollars charged and hours billed and that the attorney/vendor maintains billing records and files that are in compliance with CPCS billing and record keeping requirements.
