Pulling it all together: Practical Advocacy Tips and Special Education Advocacy in the Courtroom
The final session will build upon and utilize everything that has
been learned in the prior sessions to give the juvenile attorney
the practical advocacy tips they needs to support their clients
and explain how to employ this advocacy to get better
outcomes for the case in chief. The attorneys will learn how to
use education advocacy to get CRAs dismissed, to craft
conditions of release and conditions of probation, to confront
charges of probation violation, to understand competency and
get a competency evaluation, in disposition arguments, and
with specific intent crimes.
