School Stability and Early Intervention
In this session, attendees will develop a working knowledge of
two important education law topics. First, they will learn about
how issues of school stability affect our clients and why this is
important to positive youth development and favorable
outcomes. Then, they will gain an understanding of the laws
governing school stability: McKinney-Vento, Fostering
Connections, and the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA).
We’ll close with a short overview of Early Intervention
services and the transition process from Early Intervention to
Special Education.
