Myths and Facts: Understanding the Deadly Impact of Xylazine in the Illicit Drug Supply

Dr. Traci Green, Director of the Opioid Policy Research Collaborative, housed at Brandeis University, will be giving a virtual training about xylazine, a horse tranquilizer that is showing up in the illicit drug supply more frequently in Western Massachusetts, than in other parts of the Commonwealth.  (Approved for 1.5 CAFL CLEs)
Participants will learn:
*What xylazine is
*How it differs from other illicit drugs in our region
*Effective harm reduction strategies
