Join other members of the Mental Health community – advocates, clinicians, judges and activists – we will discuss innovative approaches to treatment including and beyond the medical model to maximize our clients’ choices and ability to sit at their own medical table and participate in treatment.
- The Keynote speaker will be Courtney Bergan, a former MHLD client, now a lawyer, advocate, and Equal Justice Works Fellow at Disability Rights Maryland. Here is her article: A Human Rights Based Approach to Treatment
- The Agenda details other panelists including those practicing critical psychiatry, anti-racist psychiatry, metabolic and nutritional psychiatry, harm reduction and activists who will enlighten us on transformative approaches.
