Topic: Evaluating Elders’ Capacities in Guardianship and 8B Petitions
The first hour of this program on Zoom will explore elder neglect and abuse through the lens of the investigating elder services agency including their legal authority to act and community services offered. The second hour will focus on how an expert determines a variety of mental capacities that mental health litigators must confront in guardianship and civil commitment cases. Q&As follow each panel/presentation.
