on behalf of your commitment and guardianship clients!

Presenters include members from MHLD staff and private panel, Social Service Advocates and Experts & the Peer Support Community

  • Develop your theory of the case using LRA as a shield – to defend against Petitioner’s case, or, as a sword – to affirmatively raise the existence of LRA;
  • Learn how to work as a defense team with Social Service Advocates (SSAs) and Social Service Experts (SSEs) with your clients to decide which witnesses will effectively support your theory;
  • Discover community resources available as less restrictive alternatives to support and empower your clients which can assist them to avoid commitment and guardianship & future involuntary presence in the mental health system.
