Introduction to the Parole Advocacy Unit

This quick training will introduce attorneys and legal professionals to the staff, panels, and scope of the Private Counsel Division’s Parole Advocacy Unit. Attendees will learn who is eligible for counsel, when to reach out to the unit, and some key information to consider in representing clients whose sentences include parole eligibility. This training is the first in a series that will focus on topics of interest to those across practice areas who are working with incarcerated and parole-eligible clients.
