This interactive, four-part series led by collaborative experts in the field will explore the intersections of criminal justice with occupational justice. This learning experience has been designed to involve consumers, practitioners, and researchers, in psychology, social work, occupational therapy, law, and others, in consideration of these important issues. The series will include an overview of the current criminal justice system, its population and disparities, and modern efforts towards reform. From a lifespan perspective, we will explore the experiences from preconception, youth, and through older adulthood that contribute to incarceration, and we present suggestions for prevention and intervention.
