How to Read a CARI for Non-Criminal Attorneys Practicing in Guardianship and Commitment Cases and What to Do if Your Client Wants to Testify but has Open Criminal Charges 

This 1 hour MHLD CLE is geared toward attorneys who do not typically practice criminal law but who may encounter clients who have open criminal charges or a criminal record that is an issue in your proceedings. The first part of the course will discuss how to read the charges and outcomes on the CARI and the second part of the CLE will focus on what to do if your client wants to testify and has open charges or was found incompetent to stand trial.
