Wondering what we as public defenders have learned or can learn from LGBTQ communities? Please join us for an interactive conversation about various moments in United States LGBTQ history, with a focus on Massachusetts, and how they relate to our work and values as public defenders. Whether you see yourself as a queer history buff or think you don’t remember a thing that’s happened, there will be something here for you to talk about, think about and connect to your work as a public defender.
In order to be interactive, this training is limited to 75 participants so sign up early if you are interested.
Facilitated by Connor Barusch (he/they), criminal defense trainer, but this training will address values brought to public defender work by people in all divisions.
