Doing it Right for a “Do-Over”: Working Effectively with Trial Counsel To Investigate and Litigate a Claim of IAC

Join us for this full-day, skills-based in-person training relevant to appellate and post-trial practitioners across all practice areas – criminal, YAD, Mental Health, SORB/SDP CAFL, and Immigration.  The day will include large group presentations and panel discussions as well as practice area specific breakout sessions with skills-based exercises.

Topics will include preparing to work with trial counsel and meeting challenges that arise, as well as drafting affidavits and preparing for direct examination of trial counsel.

Space will be limited and pre-training viewing of approximately one hour of video recordings on the law of IAC is required.

NOTE: This program has been approved for 6 CLE on the following CPCS Panels:
