An introductory course on forensic DNA analysis, examining DNA evidence from collection, analysis, to admission at trial or a hearing. The training will also discuss defense DNA experts, DNA labs, potential red flags, discovery and Daubert motions, and practical tips for cross-exams and arguments. Additional topics will include: DNA statistics and likelihood ratios.
