CAFL follow up to Why Race Matters #4 – See Something, Say Something

Racial bias permeates throughout all family regulation cases.  We hope to follow-up Professor Henning’s See Something, Say Something presentation to focus on CAFL cases and how racial bias, hyper-surveillance, and the traumatic effects of family policing impacts our clients and court cases.   We hope to develop a better understanding of how to use skills and strategies presented to challenge “dehumanizing language, attitudes, and legal decisions” in all stages of a care and protection case.
