Attorney In Charge
Tommy has spent his entire legal career as a public defender for CPCS in Plymouth County. He joined what was then the Brockton District Court office in 2007 before moving to the Brockton Superior Court office. He returned to the Brockton District Court office as a supervising attorney for nearly seven years before being named AIC.
Tommy is originally from east Texas but has lived in Massachusetts for over twenty years. After attending college in his home state of Texas and graduating summa cum laude from Austin College, Tommy attended Yale University and earned a Master’s Degree in English. After working as a high school English teacher and then in management for educational nonprofit organizations, Tommy entered law school with a singular focus on becoming a public defender. Tommy attended BC Law School and graduated with honors; he has worked for CPCS ever since.
