Scott joined YAD as a staff attorney in March 2011. He graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University in 2003 with a B.A. in Communication.  Scott then attended the University of Richmond School of Law and graduated with his J.D. in January of 2006. Following graduation he worked for the Virginia Indigent Defense Commission (VAIDC) for nearly five years – first with the Richmond Office of the Public Defender and then with the Fairfax Office of the Public Defender – where he represented adults and juveniles at the trial and appellate levels.   Scott was admitted to the Rhode Island Bar in Spring of 2006, the Virginia Bar in Fall of 2006, and the Massachusetts Bar in Fall of 2008.
