MANAGING DIRECTOR

Joe has been working with youth involved in the juvenile justice system since 1997, first as a line staff with the Department of Youth Services, and then as a DYS Caseworker and supervisor of clinicians on a secured treatment unit. Joe is a graduate of Bridgewater State College (1997) and Southern New England School of Law (2003). Prior to joining YAD in January of 2011 Joe had been a solo practitioner focusing on juvenile and adult criminal defense, care and protection, and family law since 2004. He was also the recipient of the 2016 Jay D. Blitzman Youth Advocacy Award.

Joe assumed the position of YAD Managing Director in March 2023.
