STAFF COUNSEL
Courtney graduated from the University of Georgia in 2003 with a B.S. in Psychology and then attended Suffolk University Law School where she graduated with a J.D. in 2006. While at Suffolk, Courtney participated in the Suffolk Juvenile Justice Program where she represented juveniles in criminal matters under the third year practice rule in Boston Juvenile Court. After graduating from Suffolk, she returned to Georgia and was a Public Defender for both adults and juveniles in the Enotah Judicial Circuit. After spending four and a half years as a Public Defender in Georgia, Courtney joined YAD in March of 2011.
