M. Barusch (“Barusch”) joined CPCS in 2012, working as a public defender in the Roxbury/Dorchester/West Roxbury Municipal Court Office of CPCS. In 2014, Barusch joined the Boston Superior Court Trial Unit. Barusch is a 2009 graduate of Boston University School of Law. During law school, Barusch co-founded and worked at a free legal clinic called Massachusetts Transgender Legal Advocates. Before joining CPCS, Barusch worked as a law clerk at the Massachusetts Appeals Court and as an associate at Kauffman Crozier LLP. Barusch loves trying cases, cooking, running and playing board games.
