JUSTIN D. POWERS
Investigator
Justin graduated from The University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2005. Shortly thereafter he began his investigative career in the insurance industry and supervised Special Investigations Unit casualty claims cases in and around the city of Boston. In 2010 he began working for a private investigation firm and handled a diverse caseload across the greater Boston area. Justin also formerly volunteered for InnerCity Weightlifting, a non-profit program that empowers young people with the confidence to say “no” to violence and “yes” to opportunity. He joined the Public Defender Division in 2013.
