Before joining the Committee for Public Counsel Services (CPCS) in 2012, Gilberto worked as a freelance personal assistant in New York City, NY and Southern Berkshire Co., MA. Gilberto has over 10 years of experience working in a number of administrative roles. He has assisted a BIA/ United States Stamp Society Hall of Fame inductee managing a stamp collection of over 15,000 stamps, facilitated in property management for CB Richard Ellis (CBRE)/ Bank of America in Houston, TX and was an office clerk of Porter and Hedges, LLP in Houston, TX. While working for CBRE, he volunteered as a field reporter for the in-house nationwide newsletter, was part of the command center after hurricane Ike in 2008, and volunteered in the reconstruction of parts of Western Louisiana and East Texas after hurricanes Katrina and Rita in 2005. Gilberto is originally from Houston, TX and is fluent in Spanish.
