Marie is a 1990 graduate of Western New England College and a 1993 graduate of Massachusetts School of Law. Prior to joining the Mental Health Litigation Division in 2012, she worked as a public defender in Vermont, where her practice was focused on criminal and delinquency law as well as child protective law. She has also worked as a sole practitioner with a concentration in family law and custody disputes. Marie has participated in trainings on child development, developmental disabilities and the effects of communication on effective advocacy.
