Joe has been working with youth involved in the juvenile justice system since 1999, first as a line staff with the Department of Youth Services, and then as a DYS Caseworker and supervisor of clinicians on a secured treatment unit. Joe is a graduate of Bridgewater State College (1997) and Southern New England School of Law (2003). Prior to joining YAD in January of 2011 as the Attorney In Charge of the Fall River Area office Joe had been a solo practitioner focusing on juvenile and adult criminal defense, care and protection, and family law since 2004. This year he has also been an Adjunct Professor at the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth School of Law.
