CPCS Seeking Applications for Spring 2023 CAFL Trial Panel Certification Training
CPCS/CAFL is now accepting applications for its Spring 2023 CAFL Trial Panel Certification Training to represent children and parents in Care & Protection (C&P) cases and Children Requiring Assistance (CRA) cases. The online training will include a combination of self-directed learning and live Zoom sessions two afternoons per week for a period of four weeks. The training concludes with a full day, in-person mock hearing.
Attorneys accepted into this training will receive a “Certification Payment” of $5032 upon the following: 1) successful completion of the CAFL Trial Panel Certification Training; 2) receiving appointments on 12 care and protection cases; and 3) submission of 600 hours of billing on care and protection cases.

Spring 2023 Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, but preference will be given to attorneys who submit completed applications by Monday, February 6, 2023. CPCS actively seeks to diversify its private attorney panel membership.
