This module kicks off CPCS’ Why Race Matters Speaker Series. Participants gain a deeper understanding of why litigating race and addressing systemic racism in the adult criminal, juvenile, mental health, and child and family regulation legal systems is critical in representing our clients.
Congresswoman Pressley will address staff and private counsel imploring us to improve ourselves, more deeply understand the impact of racism, and the effects of racism in our systems. Her words are our call to action as we begin to answer the critical question, “Why Race Matters”.
