Come take a trip with us down memory lane to learn about the speedy trial laws and types of violations our clients are facing. This is the first of two sessions, and will focus mainly on the legal aspects of speedy trial and how to demonstrate prejudice. We will cover the three legal avenues for challenging the deprivation of a speedy trial: Rule 36(b), Rule 36(c) and the Constitutional right to speedy trial.
