Appealing the Denial of COVID-19 Related Motions

This webinar will prepare attorneys to appeal the denial of COVID-19 related motions. It will cover what to consider in deciding whether to appeal, how to appeal, and when the case should be referred to the post-conviction panel. It will cover appealing the denial of bail petitions, MRCP 29 Motions to Revise and Revoke; MRCP 31 Motions for Stay of Execution of Sentence; Motions for funds for a social worker; and the filing of 211/3 petitions for extraordinary relief.
Attendance at this webinar qualifies for 1.5 CLE for the following panels: Adult Criminal, Criminal Appeals, YAD/Juvenile and YAD/Juvenile Appeals.
It qualifies for 1 CLE for the MHLD panel.
