Since so many clients are\nexcluded as a result of behavior that may lead to charges within\nthe school or for offenses that occur out of school\, this is an\nimportant part of effective client advocacy. Attendees will\nlearn about the different types of disciplinary actions that can\nbe taken\, the three types of school exclusion by law – Chapters\n37H\, 37H ½\, and 37 H ¾ They will learn about Chapter 222\nwhich increased the rights of students who are excluded and the\nspecial protections that students with disabilities (on an IEP or\n504 plan) have when facing long-term suspension or expulsion. \nRegister Here
