Communicating & Collaborating With Kids About Being in Care (& Other Challenging Conversations) training twice more this spring! We will be in Boston on April 8\, 2026 and in Worcester on April 16\, 2026. \nThis interactive training\, developed in partnership with psychologist Dr. Ronald Molin\, focuses on effective communication with child clients. It provides participants with a framework for having difficult conversations with children\, about why they are in substitute care and what they want to happen\, among other topics. With this foundation\, participants then have an opportunity\, using case examples\, to practice eliciting the child’s preferences and determining their position. \nThis in-person program runs from 9:00am-5:00pm (8 CAFL CLEs). Lunch will be provided. \nSpace is limited – don’t miss out! Register for Boston here. Register for Worcester here. A waitlist will open once capacity is reached. \nPlease email cafltraining@publiccounsel.net with any questions
