Please contact the organizer listed below with any questions.\nThe Massachusetts Bar Association’s Juvenile & Child Welfare Section will hold its annual conference virtually on Tuesday\, May 24\, from 1-4 p.m. The conference theme is Fighting Systemic Inequality: Pushing the Needle Toward Racial Justice. \nThe keynote speaker is U.S. Attorney Rachael Rollins. \nThe conference will feature a plenary session exploring: \n\nWhy is race relevant to our cases and how to raise it\nA delinquency track (Diversion as a Racial Justice Tool: Innovations in Diversion and Wholistic Advocacy) breakout session\nA child welfare track (Pre-Filing Representation as a Racial Justice Tool) breakout session\n\nThis conference is approved for 3 CAFL/YAD credits. \nA special rate of $50 is available for practitioners on the CAFL\, MH and YAD panels\, and CPCS staff. To register\, call MBA Member Services at (617) 338-0530. \nThis webinar will be hosted using Zoom. Registration is required by noon on Monday\, May 23\, to participate in this program. After you register with the MBA\, please look for an email from MassBar Education with the Webinar ID and Password.
