SUMMARY:The Child Welfare Reasonable Efforts Findings Study (REFS): Understanding the Study Design
DESCRIPTION:This program is hosted by the organizer listed below. Any questions or issues regarding this program should be directed there. This event is being listed for informational purposes only. CPCS staff cannot assist with\, or solve\, registration issues.\n\n\n\nJudges play a critical role making reasonable efforts findings in child welfare cases. Yet there is limited research on how they make reasonable efforts decisions or how those decisions relate to case outcomes. The Reasonable Efforts Findings Study (REFS) seeks to better understand how judges’ reasonable efforts decisions relate to case outcomes for children.
