DESCRIPTION:The MHLD and the CPCS Wellness Committee present: \nDr. Tracy Meyers\, Psy.D\, Clinical Psychologist from Lawyers Concerned for Lawyers (LCL) \nRepresenting Clients with Mental Health Challenges & Cognitive Issues Impacting Decision-Making \nOn Zoom: April 7th from 10:00 am – 11:30 am \n1 ½ CLE Credits: \nCAFL (Trial & Appeals)\, Criminal (Trial & Appeals)\, \nMHLD (Trial & Appeals)\, SDP/SORB\, YAD (Trial & Appeals)\, Parole & Medical Parole \n  \n· Dr. Meyers will focus on how to recognize the symptoms of decision-making difficulties when working with clients that may be experiencing mental health challenges\, traumatic brain injury\, cognitive decline\, or other cognitive impairments and behavioral issues. \n· Dr. Meyers will also provide an overview of simple strategies to consider when working with people with cognitive and mental health challenges. \n· Participants will be invited to share difficult situations they have encountered & explore effective ways to connect with and advocate for clients as well as with friends and family. \n  \nRegister in advance for this meeting:
