DESCRIPTION:The CPCS Wellness Committee in collaboration with Lawyers Concerned for Lawyers (LCL) presents: \nWell-Being & Addiction \n  \nAll staff and private counsel: \nCome join us on March 24th on Zoom from 2-3:30pm \n1 ½ CLE Credits: \nCAFL (Trial & Appeals)\, Criminal (Trial & Appeals)\, \nMHLD (Trial & Appeals)\, SDP/SORB and YAD (Trial & Appeals) \n  \n· We will learn from Dr. Jeffrey Fortgang\, LCL Clinical Psychologist\, about the science of addiction\, the impact on our well-being and how we can recover and develop healthy habits in our personal and professional lives. \n· We will discover as legal professionals that our experience with addiction is no different than our clients’ experiences. \n· We will also hear from colleagues in the legal profession who will share their experiences with addiction and recovery and share their strategies for self-care and support. \n  \nThe training will help you to: \n· Become aware of how your wellness or the wellness of your friends and family may be impacted by various addictions – not limited to alcohol or substance use; \n· Learn how not to give up because relapses are common; \n· Develop tools of self-care and identify resources available for your support and the support of colleagues and family. \nRegister in advance for this meeting: https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/4RAB5x4pS-iCCB0PWNyHVQ \nAfter registering\, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting. \nAny Questions?
