SUMMARY:CAFL's Medical Decisions for Children in DCF Custody (aka “Rogers”) Training\, 2023
DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Each year we host a two part webinar on medical treatment decisions for children in DCF custody (aka “Rogers” training).  The first session reviews the legal process for hearings in Juvenile Court seeking judicial authorization to administer extraordinary medical treatment to child clients in DCF custody.  In the second session\, a child psychiatrist will review mental health issues and medication for children.  All CAFL attorneys are required to complete this program. \nThe next Rogers Training will take place via Zoom on November 1&7\, 2023 from 2:00-4:00 pm.
