STAFF COUNSEL

Garrett first joined the Committee for Public Counsel Services in March 2016.  Garrett began his career with CPCS as a Trial Attorney in the Worcester Children and Family Law Division (CAFL).  In April 2019, Garrett started a split rotation between CAFL and the Worcester District and Superior Court Office until he joined the Youth Advocacy Division in December 2019.  Garrett graduated magna cum laude from Roger Williams University School of Law in 2014.

During his time in Law School, Garrett gained litigation experience through the Criminal Defense Clinic at Roger Williams University School of Law, winning the Criminal Defense Clinic Award in 2014, and as a Rule 9 Student Attorney Intern at the Rhode Island Public Defender.  Prior to attending Law School, Garrett graduated summa cum laude from New England College in Henniker, NH with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, Creative Writing, and a minor in History.
