STAFF COUNSEL

Emily is currently completing a two year Staff Attorney rotation in the Parole Advocacy Unit.  Prior to her rotation, beginning in the fall of 2012, she worked as a Trial Attorney in the Public Defender Division, representing clients in both the Superior and District Courts in Hampden, Hampshire and Franklin Counties.  In 2018 Emily completed a 9 month rotation in the Children and Family Law Division in Hampden County, advocating on behalf of mothers, fathers, and children in the Juvenile Court.

Emily graduated from the City University of New York School of Law, where she participated in and completed the Defenders Clinic.  She has also served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Mali, West Africa and earned her bachelor and master degrees from Regis University in Denver, Colorado.
