KARA A. HUMM has been an attorney with the Committee for Public Counsel Services (CPCS) Public Defender Fall River District Court Office for seven years, where she has represented indigent persons in District and Superior Courts. Attorney Humm is a graduate of Bentley College (B.S., 2003) and Roger Williams University School of Law (J.D. 2008). While at Bentley College, Kara was a member of the 1999-2001 Women’s Basketball Team and while obtaining her law degree was an Assistant Coach for the Roger Williams Women’s Basketball Team. Prior to law school, Kara spent a couple of years traveling. She resided in St. Croix in the United States Virgin Island, Trapper Creek, Alaska, and backpacked throughout Scotland and across the United States. Currently, Kara is a member of the Roger Williams School of Law Alumni Board and a member of her town’s Juvenile Hearing Board.
