Alice  has been the Supervising Attorney of the Roxbury Commitment Unit of CPCS Mental Health Litigation Division since 2011. Prior to joining CPCS as Supervising Attorney, she was in private practice, in which she specialized in mental health, civil rights, discrimination, animal rights, and appellate law. In 2006, CPCS honored Attorney Wiseberg with the Paul J. Liacos Advocacy Award, given for zealous advocacy and outstanding legal services to the poor. Attorney Wiseberg has given numerous presentations in various areas of practice, including mental health law. She received her bachelor’s degree from Florida State University, master’s degree in sociology from the University of Michigan, and law degree from Northeastern University School of Law. After graduating from law school, Attorney Wiseberg served as a law clerk to the justices of the Massachusetts Superior Court.
