Vanessa joined YAD as a staff attorney in March 2011. She graduated from Union College in 2007 with a B.A. in Modern Languages and Classics. She received her J.D. from Suffolk University Law School in 2010. While in law school, she was a certified student attorney at the Family Advocacy Clinic and represented indigent clients in family matters, including a successful bench trial. Vanessa was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar in November 2010 and her admission to the New York State Bar is pending. Vanessa is also fluent in Spanish.
