Certification and Training Requirements:
Applicants to the SDP trial panel must be certified to accept Superior Court assignments and attend a Sexually Dangerous Person Civil Commitment training offered annually. Upon completion of these requirements, attorneys must submit an SDP trial panel application to the Assignment Coordinator, Alternative Commitment and Registration Support (ACRS) Unit, 44 Bromfield Street, Boston, MA 02108.

Assignment of Cases:
Superior Courts assign cases from lists of certified attorneys, provided to them from CPCS.
Performance Requirements:
By accepting assignments in these cases, attorneys agree to abide by applicable CPCS Performance Standards.
